Dear colleagues,
Please join me in welcoming Dr. Gannon Tagher as the new dean of the College of Health and Human Services. Gannon brings a wealth of experience both from her nursing and teaching careers and from her many leadership roles at NKU.
As many of you know, Gannon has been serving in the interim dean position since January 2023 and for that service, I am very grateful. Prior to that, she had served as faculty, program director, department chair, associate dean, and assistant vice provost for advising and first-year experience. She will officially begin her dean position on July 1.
I want to express my gratitude to Christopher Lawrence and Hassan Hassabelnaby for their leadership on the search committee and to the entire search committee for their detailed work during such a busy time of the academic year. I also want to highlight the entire College of Health and Human Services for their deep engagement in the process from start to finish.
